For The Oncoming Corner #5, Karin Schneider + guest are invited to talk about ... the moment an invitation occurs by the proposer, the guest acknowledge that a certain kind of visibility will inherently emerge. A certain kind of materiality will be created by the one who is invited to talk, and together with an incidental partner and its listeners, a specific materiality will emerge. However, this materiality will be dependent upon this accidental encounter that is about—perhaps—to happen from now until Saturday, the day of this gathering. There is an invisible, traceable path that was created by multiple interactions from the moment of this invitation up until today. However, the content of this encounter is still contingent on fulfillment of certain unknown conditions. Each participant of this gathering will co-create this experience that is about to happen.
